Experience since 1948

On June 9, 1948, Karl Paul Mundinger and his wife, Frida, founded the electric motor factory KP Mundinger GmbH .

Initially, the company primarily marketed specialized electric motors. Starting in 1951, in collaboration with Rudi Farenkopf, a specialist in moisture measurement, they also began manufacturing wood moisture meters. The demand for these devices grew so quickly that the development and production of additional moisture meters for consumer goods of all kinds were accelerated. These precision instruments have always been the foundation of the company’s excellent reputation and are now exported to over 100 countries worldwide.

Since the unexpected death of the company founder, his son, Michael Mundinger, who was appointed managing partner, and his wife, Brigitte Mundinger , who is also a managing partner, along with a core team of experienced professionals, have ensured the company’s continued development. Naturally, great emphasis remains placed on maintaining high-quality standards.
